To develop Coral Care, Stream2Sea collaborated with leading coral scientists from the University of Derby, a global authority in marine and coral research. Led by UN marine advisor, Professor Michael Sweet, the product has undergone rigorous testing and is scientifically proven to promote healthy coral growth.
“If we hadn’t done the tests ourselves, I simply wouldn’t have believed we could turn a negative into a positive,” Professor Sweet discusses. “When we saw an 8% increase in the growth of some corals at the mid-point stage of testing after being treated with Coral Care, it was then we knew we were on to something huge”.
“The end result saw a staggering 21% increase in horizontal growth rates compared to control levels when nothing had been added into the water.”
