How to Save Big on Dive Gear Without Paying Full Price

Scuba gear isn’t cheap. A full setup can easily cost more than your next dive trip, and it’s way too easy to overpay for the wrong things. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the two times a year where that flips. If you plan it right, you can finally pick up the gear you’ve been renting, upgrade one or two “dream” pieces, and still have money left for actual diving.

This isn’t a random coupon list. We’ve gone through the main categories that matter most to divers right now – scooters, starter kits, masks, wetsuits, dive computers, phone housings, BCDs, accessories, and liveaboards – and picked stand-out deals with real savings and solid gear behind them.

Links below go to the best offers we could find when we checked. Prices and percentages do move around, so treat this as your map: start with what you actually need, then see where the biggest Black Friday and Cyber Monday wins are.

Sea Scooters – Maximum Fun per Dollar

Testing the LEFEET P1 in the pool

Let’s start with a few underwater scooters on sale.

Lefeet P1 Versatile Underwater Scooter – We found this at about 10% off here.

The Lefeet P1 is a compact modular scooter you can hand-hold, mount, or run in dual-motor mode; powerful enough for scuba, fun for snorkeling, and easy to travel with.

You can also read our full review here.

Lefeet P1 Lite – We found this on sale on the brand’s Black Friday page.

The P1 Lite keeps the same modular concept in a lighter, more budget-friendly package that’s great for snorkelers and casual divers.

You can read our full review here.

Lefeet Black Friday Bundles – We found bundle deals with extra batteries and mounts here.

If you grab a scooter, these bundles can save you money on spares and accessories you’ll likely want anyway.

Full Starter Sets – From Zero to Dive-Ready

Black Friday 2025 Cressi Solid Package

If you want to stop renting and get a full kit, these packages are worth a look.

Oceanic Open Water Package – We found this at about 29% off here.

You get a BCD, regulator, octopus, and instruments from a trusted brand, which makes it an easy jump from rental gear to your own comfortable recreational setup.

Cressi Solid Plus BCD Package – We found this at about 40% off here.

This kit is built like a dive-school workhorse, with a tough BCD and simple, reliable components that handle heavy use and travel well.

Masks – Small Buy, Big Comfort

A good mask is one of the cheapest ways to improve your dives.

Oceanic Shadow Single-Window Mask – We found this mask on sale here.

It’s a low-volume frameless mask with a wide view that packs flat, so it works well as a primary and as a backup in your pocket, with a clean all-black look.

Cressi SF1 Squared Frameless Mask – We found this at about 40% off here.

You get a big open viewing window and a soft silicone skirt, plus the modern white styling that a lot of divers like right now.

Wetsuits – Staying Warm = More Dives

Bare 5mm Velocity Ultra Men’s Full Suit
Bare 5mm Velocity Ultra Men’s Full Suit

Here’s a standout suit deal if you’re often cold.

BARE 5 mm Velocity Ultra – We found this at about 78% off here.

Progressive full-stretch neoprene gives you more flexibility where you move and more insulation where you lose heat, making this 5 mm a great all-round suit for cooler tropical and many temperate dives.

Dive Computers – Buy Once, Learn Once

The Peregrine has Shearwater’s renowned customizable color display.

These are the computers we’d look at first on sale.

Cressi Leonardo Wrist Computer – We found this on sale here.

It has a simple single-button interface, a clear screen, and air/Nitrox support, which makes it a very easy first computer to live with.

You can read our full review here.

Shearwater Peregrine – We’ve seen occasional Black Friday discounts, so it’s worth checking prices here. You get a bright color screen, intuitive menus, and strong decompression capability, so even a small discount is attractive on a computer you can grow with for years.

Full review here.

Underwater Camera Deals

If you want better underwater photos without jumping into a full camera rig, these are the camera and housing deals to look at.

DiveVolk SeaTouch 4 Max Plus – We found this at about 29% off here.

The SeaTouch 4 Max Plus lets you use your phone’s touchscreen underwater, is rated for real scuba depths, and works with modern phones using the right insert plate, so it’s a clean way to turn your everyday phone into a serious dive camera.

Full review here.

Oceanic+ Dive Housing + App Deal

Our full Oceanic+ iPhone Housing review is here.

The housing turns your iPhone into both an underwater camera and a backup dive computer in one unit, with color correction, a built-in vacuum seal, and support for multiple iPhone models so you can upgrade phones without changing housings. For Black Friday, Oceanic+ is offering 25% off an Individual Annual Oceanic+ app subscription until Monday, December 8.

Insta360 Black Friday Camera Deals – We found the main Insta360 Black Friday page here.

The sale includes up to 30% off selected cameras plus store-exclusive gifts, and up to 20% off selected accessories, which makes it a good one-stop page if you want a compact 360 rig and bundles for dive trips and travel.

BCDs – Big-Ticket Workhorses

Cressi Aquawing Featured

If you only do one big upgrade, a good BCD is a strong choice.

Zeagle Halo BCD – We found this on sale here.

It’s a back-inflate BCD with plenty of lift and storage, ideal if you like a cleaner chest area in the water but still want a feature-rich recreational harness.

Cressi Aquawing BCD – We found this on sale here.

This wing-and-harness style BCD has a minimalist feel and helps you hold a nice horizontal trim as you work on your buoyancy.

Atomic Aquatics BC1 BCD – We found this on sale here.

You get premium materials and hardware plus clever weight-release and tank-band systems; it’s usually top-tier in price, so any Black Friday discount is a rare chance to grab dream gear for less.

Cressi Elettra Women’s BCD – We found this on sale here.

The Elettra has women-specific shaping at the shoulders and hips, which usually makes it more comfortable than unisex jackets for smaller divers.

Accessories & Thermal Layers

Black Friday 2025 Accessories

These smaller pieces can make a big difference in comfort.

BARE 7/3 mm Ultrawarmth Women’s Hooded Vest – We found this on sale here.

It adds a warm hood and extra core insulation under your main suit, cutting heat loss on repetitive dives and making day-two and dive-three much more pleasant.

Oceanic Dry Bag (Clear) – We found this on sale here.

This clear dry bag keeps phones, keys, clothes, and camera parts actually dry on wet boats, and you can see everything inside at a glance.

Oceanic Deal Overview – We found a handy page that sorts Oceanic gear by savings here.

It’s a quick way to spot the biggest percentage discounts on BCDs, bags, accessories, and more from the brand.

Great Black Friday Deals on Liveaboard Trips

Dive Sites In Egypt Liveaboard Egypt

If you want to take all this gear somewhere special, these are the two main liveaboard deal hubs to watch.

Liveaboard.com Deep Blue Friday – We found a dedicated Black Friday liveaboard hub here.

You can browse discounted trips to classic spots like the Red Sea, Maldives, Indonesia, Galápagos, and the Caribbean, then sort by price per night or discount and filter by fleet or boat name.

PADI Travel Liveaboard & Black Friday Deals – We found PADI’s main Black Friday page here and their year-round liveaboard deals here.

Filter by region and choose “liveaboards only,” then sort by specials and check what’s included (park fees, nitrox, transfers, and gear rental) before you compare final trip prices.
