Julie Shetler's lifelong love for the ocean and marine life has taken her on a remarkable journey of exploration and discovery. Growing up on the Gulf Coast of Florida, she developed a deep connection with the ocean, which led her to become a certified scuba diver at 15 years old. Julie's passion for diving led her to complete her PADI Instructor Development Course in the Florida Keys, after which she traveled the world to teach scuba diving. She explored some of the most popular dive sites in the United Arab Emirates, Malawi, Tahiti, and Southeast Asia. She loves shipwrecks and marine wildlife. Along the way she discovered a passion for freediving as a path to health and wellness. In addition to her diving pursuits, she is also focused on her writing career and currently resides where she came from in Florida.
